Common Questions about P90X
Does it take a lot of space to do P90X?
P90X
does not require much space except for the following following
routines. Plyometrics is jumping around, from side to side, forward and
back so
some room is required here. You may be able to improvise the moves.
Kenpo X requires side kicks, front kicks and back kicks. Some of the
exercise make you move forward and back while kicking or punching.
Pull-ups are required. You can use bands if you can find a place on the
ceiling or wall close to the ceiling to install a hook to wrap your
b line resistance bands around. Make sure it is secure in the wall
because you will be pulling hard against it. Then you could sit on the
floor and do "pull-ups"
that way you don't have to have a pull-up bar like mounts on the door.
We successfully did P90X in a about a 8 X 8 space.
Can resistance bands be used effectively in P90x as replacement of the pull up bar?
Yes,
resistance bands can be used as a replacement for the pull-up bar. In
fact on P90X they show someone using the bands. If you have a space in
your house to work out you can screw in a medium sized hook (use good
judgment on the size because you will be pulling hard against it) into
one of your wall's 2 X 4's at the top and sit or kneel down to do the
pull-ups.
Should you do Cardio X before or after the main workout for the day with P90X?
According to the Doubles workout for P90X, Cardio X is always done in the morning. See the Technical Spec tab on this page for more information on the workouts.
When should I do P90X in the morning or evening?
You should do P90X when you are most likely to stick with the program, morning or evening. If you commit to getting up early and your not an early person, you are less likely to succeed than if you pick the time you will most likely be in the mood to workout.
Can I truly get ripped in just 90 days?
Yes, if you follow the program, give it 110% effort and change your eating habits according to the Nutrition guide, you can get ripped in 90 days. The evidence is there, many have achieved it and have documented their progress. P90X works if you do.
